The Basketball Wives campaign needed to deliver a vibrant, high-energy visual identity while reinforcing the glamour, drama, and bold personalities that define the series.
The creative leaned into femininity, movement, and layered composition — capturing the confidence and chemistry of the cast while creating a look that felt elevated, modern, and instantly recognizable within the VH1 landscape.
Role: Art Director
Responsibilities:
Translated the campaign concept into a complete visual system
Led the project forward from the photoshoot phase through final launch
Developed key art layouts and cross-platform creative
Built and delivered a cohesive campaign suite across all mediums while maintaining the spirit of the original concept
The visual direction emphasized high-glam energy through color, light, and composition. Feminine palettes, layered imagery, and dynamic typography worked together to highlight each cast member’s personality while maintaining a unified campaign look.
The system was designed to scale — allowing individual character moments to shine while reinforcing the ensemble nature of the series.
I composited photography assets and designed polished key art, social and digital assets, and promotional event materials. A strong focus was placed on layering, light play, and typographic clarity to ensure the work stood out across formats.
I also directed high-end finishing, delivering a refined, premium execution that maintained impact whether viewed on billboards, social feeds, or in-person activations.
