City on a Hill is a crime drama set in 1990s Boston, centered on corruption and moral compromise. The campaign needed to reflect its gritty realism and psychological tension, grounding the characters in an environment that felt harsh and inescapable.

The direction focused on atmosphere and environment. Boston’s winter became a visual metaphor for the story. Working with photographer Eric Ogden, we captured textured imagery, restrained palettes, and controlled compositions. Characters are placed within icy streets and shadowed spaces, reinforcing pressure and inevitability.
The press kit was designed as a tactile storytelling piece, inspired by a security evidence bag. Details included embossed stitching, a leather strap, and brass-style hardware. Metallic inks and soft-touch coating elevated the physical experience, reinforcing themes of investigation and secrecy. Each kit includes a saddle-stitched booklet and a DVD housed in the back cover, creating a layered, dimensional format.
