Homeland is an American psychological spy thriller centered on CIA officer Carrie Mathison and Marine Corps Scout Sniper Nicholas Brody, unfolding against a backdrop of global intelligence, political tension, and moral ambiguity.
As a long-running prestige series with a highly defined visual identity, the campaign work required precision and restraint — honoring the established tone of the franchise while delivering impactful assets across platforms and territories.
Role: Senior Designer / Art Director
Responsibilities:
Designed campaign materials across both agency and in-house environments
Executed key art, print, and out-of-home assets aligned to the established creative direction
Designed home entertainment packaging and retail-facing materials
Interpreted and extended the visual system across digital, print, and physical formats
Ensured brand consistency and clarity across domestic and international deliverables
The visual language of Homeland is rooted in tension, surveillance, and psychological unease. Working within this framework, the focus was on disciplined composition, controlled color palettes, and typographic restraint — allowing performance, atmosphere, and narrative stakes to lead.
Rather than reinventing the brand, the work reinforced its authority and credibility, ensuring every execution felt unmistakably Homeland.
Across multiple seasons and deliverables, I collaborated closely with creative leadership to adapt key art and campaign materials for a wide range of formats, markets, and use cases.
This included refining layouts for print and OOH, preparing international versions, and translating campaign visuals into home entertainment packaging that maintained narrative tension while functioning effectively in retail environments.
