city of west hollywood
As Authentic’s design partner, I developed the visual identity and event graphics for two consecutive years of West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval. Each year introduced a distinct theme while retaining the event’s signature gold skull, Skelly.
Working closely with Authentic’s producers, I adapted the designs across postcards, credentials, T-shirts, stage scrims, step-and-repeats, and photo moments, delivering print-ready artwork to their production partners.
For 2026, I paired the signature gold skull with jeweled flowers, disco-ball textures, and vivid pinks and purples, translating the “’70s/’80s disco flowers” brief into a cohesive identity across print and event graphics.
The initial brief for 2025 centered on a partnership with Disney celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I developed a themed direction, then adapted it when a late-stage change called for less emphasis on the film. The final identity retained the gold skull, dripping text and glitter treatment, preserving the event’s familiar visual character while moving toward a slightly broader celebration.
