more about me

Hi, I’m Rebecca Wheatman, a design-led creative director who shapes strong visual ideas and brings them to life.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve developed entertainment campaigns for SHOWTIME, BET, VH1, A+E, Audible, and 20th Century Fox. My portfolio includes soccer-playing cannibals, influencers, vigilante serial killers, dysfunctional families, and the occasional love story. It’s a surprisingly difficult job to explain at parties.

My experience spans hands-on design, art direction, and leading creative teams. Most recently, I’ve directed a global streaming artwork refresh, establishing the visual system and guiding designers across hundreds of titles. My work has earned three Clio Awards, five Promax (GEMA) Awards, and recognition from publications like Indiewire.

I’m a Californian living in the NJ/NYC area with my husband and our two cats. Outside of work, I’m usually planning a weekend trip upstate, reconfiguring a perfectly fine room in my house, or gardening with mixed results. I’m always looking for meaningful projects, interesting conversations, and the best strawberry matcha in town. I also write essays, stories, and the occasional poem.
